I heard this story in real life before I read it in livejournal! It's backwards from how things normally go for me so I had to make note of it.

If you didn't hear this part yet, when we went today we noticed a Polaroid that showed she's worked there for five years, yet she's still, without a doubt, the slowest one there.

and apparently she hasn't learned to slice a bagel properly. the slowness I can excuse, or at least attribute to her age. but everything else about her is a mystery.
