Watching car accidents is so surreal, although yours sounds much worse than the one I saw a couple years back.

I know - honestly, I kept thinking, "Wait, this sort of thing doesn't actually happen!" But it did. I haven't seen anything about it on the news, so I'm very hopeful that the guy survived. Totaling the Porsche would kind of serve him right for being an idiot, but I wouldn't wish death or debilitation on even the stupidest aggressive driver.

At least you could stop. Mine the taxi driver missed the exit went airborne in the median and hit a tree. I had already passed the taxi at that point, so all I could do was call the cops.

*hugs* Thanks so much - I'm doing a lot better now. I got home, made some dinner, had a glass of wine, and I'm not nearly so jittery any more.

Yikes, that's pretty harrowing. I once narrowly avoided a nasty accident...lots of cars involved, but at much lower speeds and therefore less dangerous. It was still pretty stressful nonetheless, so I can only imagine.

yeah - it's kinda taken a day to get back to normal, and I'm still a little jumpy.
