It has come to my attention that and old friend of mine, now far away in europe, feels that i was and continue to be insecure.

lol. so? a lot of people are insecure. Some people are very secure but appear to be otherwise to some people who are.. ummm in no need of anymore security. etc etc etc. bla bla bla. you get my point. Don't let it bother you, there are worse things people could say/think about you.

a safty blanket is called that for a reason. And I did say some people who are in no need of anymore security. some people not all. Obviously there are some people who are insecure. But what may be a safty blanket to an outsider might be an object that has significant emotional meaning to the owner and might have nothing to do with secutiry.

i suppose so... but if that person is 20+ then their little 'safety blanket' sure as hell better be a cloak

there's a reason charlie brown and friends are never shown grown up. too depressing ;P
