The rain in Seattle is nothing like the rain in Vermont. Here in Brattleboro it can be drizzling one second, then pouring the next. Hence why I was soaked by the time I got to coffee with Cristina. I'm thinking today you are wrong. It was sunny, then hailing, then pouring, then raining sideways...and trees and power lines have been falling down all day yesterday and today. FUN!

There are exceptions. Sometimes the weather in Seattle is crazy as well, just the weather here constant as far as I can tell. When it rains, it rains!

When I lived in California, we lived in a place called Paso Robles for a while (El Paso de Robles for non-red necks, lol). It was pretty much a desert climate but it had the same annual rain fall as Seattle. The only difference? There was literally 1 week a year of rain.

Yes, I've seen a good Cali rain... it's enough to flatten a small child. Literally. I was that child.
