I've decided the key thing that makes a school amazing (read: Sewanee) is when you are walking to lunch from class, and the noon bells from the church aren't playing Bach, or some hymn, but instead.... "Puff The Magic Dragon." Amazing. I was singing along. And everyone was like "That is Badass," or "Wow!" Why is my school so amazing?

We had a moment like that the other night while a bunch of us were working. The quote was something to the extent of "You know, at another school, this situation would be sort of like setting up to do a porno movie or something. Here, it's doing our homework." (said because one of my roommates was going to do a topless self-portrait using tape to censor herself. She decided against that, and just wore a bra instead [but not before walking around with the tape on]. Meanwhile, there were a good six or seven people just sitting around hanging out in our living room.)
