You actually counted the plaid shirts? Will, man, I'm impressed with your persistance. I'd have given up after 20 and just said "So many plaid shirts! Everywhere! Like tribbles, those plaid shirts!"

The comparison to smoking in Powell Hall makes me giggle.
Sounds like a darn fine time!

'Twas a darn fine time. And yes, the mediocre opening act led to much sitting and counting of the plaid on the "scene kids," most of whom also had the longish "swoop" haircut. Wilco, on the other hand, led to much dancing and hoarse voices in the morning.
