Sam was tired of Klaus. He was tired of the Original hitting on his girlfriend, he was tired of him thinking he owned Mystic Falls, and he was tired of letting him get away with it.

The hunter had decided that he was going to do something about Klaus. He just hadn't figured out what.

When Caroline had found out Klaus really hadn't left town, she had wanted to tear things apart. They had thought they were free of him, but then he suddenly decided to stay. Now, he wouldn't leave her alone, telling her she could do better than Sam, even though Caroline knew Sam was a lot better than Klaus.

After spending the afternoon with Elena, she headed over to see Sam, knocking on his door when she got there.

Sam opens the door with a smile after looking through the peep hole.

"Hey Caroline," he says, stepping aside to let her in the room.

Caroline gives him a smile before stepping inside. After giving him a quick kiss, she goes over to sit down.

"Kalus was out and about today. He claims he's still here because of Tyler, and not wanting him to get killed," she tells him.

Sam tenses at the name. He can't even help it.

"Well we know that's a lie," he sighs. "Is Tyler alright?" He knows he and Caroline aren't fond of the vampire, but he can't imagine how Tyler feels about the Original that had made him into what he is.
