Sensing: Rin is just a normal human, but she has a LOT OF FEELINGS. So many feelings. That she also spends a lot of energy on trying to repress or ignore. Picking up on that is fine. Telepathy: She mostly doesn't have any latent defenses to it, so go for it. Her Core-granted ability is stealth though, which is eventually going to extend to masking her mental presence too, which will probably make it more of a pain. He carries the personality and history of his heritage in his head, along with just being good ol' Tyki Mikk - either way he's not completely human. He's a hedonist and generally just looking for a good time. Picking up on these things is fine, though if they're brought up in conversation he'll get avoidant. Telepathy: Go for it. He thinks about killing people for fun kind of constantly, but usually doesn't go through with it - just let me know that it's happening, so I can adjust my tags to reflect what he's thinking more. The Joker is violently psychotic and in the canon psychics and empaths get very uncomfortable when reading him or experience pain or go insane, depending on the nature of their powers. Trying to control him or send thoughts into him also doesn't seem to work, since his mind is too hectic. Basically, interacting with his mind is like sticking your head into an oven full of bees. Sensing: Per Marvel, Mutants are DIFFERENT than humans. They smell different, their EM signatures are different, their Auras and mental signatures are different. Magneto doesn't bother hiding this. Magneto's emotions are heavy, and he's scary powerful - he can create, manipulate, and control blackholes and wormholes as a for instance.
Telepathy: No. Magneto is almost impossible to read telepathically, unless he allows it. And mostly, he won't.
