I worked from 11-6:30 today, originally scheduled for 7:30, but they cut it back. The Child Labor Laws of North Carolina(since I am underage) state that any employee under the age of 18 must take a lunch break in less than 5 hours of working. Technically the law is 4.5 hours but you can actually stretch it to five and not get fined. It's a cool $1000 per fine, per person so if they're a smart business(which they really don't sound like) then they'll be watching minors and make sure that they follow labor laws. I'm still stuck in that hellhole that is McDonalds and since I became a manager(for the money, not the experience...heh) I learned a crap load of labor laws. You personally can't get in trouble, unless you count them taking their bad mood out on you cuz they were stupid and made you work to much. Meh...just thought I'd share that tidbit of information...have fun working!

Lol. Thanks, Missa. I didn't know you were a manager at McDonalds. Sweet. Every McD's I go into now I'm going to demand for a discount because I know a manager. :D
