You can definitely use the CSU library without being a student, though you wouldn't be able to log in to the computers to use the internet (this doesn't include library catalog computers) or check materials out without being enrolled in at least one class. If I'm not mistaken, only freshman composition students are "forced" to endure the library orientation ( ;) ), and grad students' professors use their discretion in setting up a more relevant orientation for their students. I would encourage you to go in and get comfortable with the place if you want to. The journal room is on the second floor straight ahead of the stairs, and older copies of journals are in movable shelves in the basement to your far right as you leave the central stairway.
