I could be down for Fandom, The Internet, and You. Although only tentative and if you really need me, at this point. I'm going to try and scale back my panel involvement next year in deference to others whose suggestions don't seem to be making the final cut.
Transformative Works wasn't so much about the privacy side of things and more about legal issues surrounding the creation and dissemination them, so there shouldn't be any crossover.
Mmm... I'd disagree with that as a reason to step back, because you had no control over what got in the schedule, and it had more to do with number of people who signed up to do something and schedule conflict issues than anything you did or didn't do.
But if you're just getting burned out I completely understand.
I kinda wanna see if Tara would be interested in the fandom one too, since you know her better than I do it seems. (Is she an invited in GoH or a local fan? I wasn't quite sure on that.) We just barely scratched the surface of the issue at Gone but not Forgotten and I think there's a lot more we could say.
Ha, I am far from burned out. No, I just feel really terrible when I say I'm doing 11 panels this year and on three separate occasions have people tell me that they wanted to run a panel and were cut from the schedule even though they only suggested a couple. :(
I'll probably still join a bunch of panels, but I'm going to suggest fewer of my own. I feel like I'm hogging the stage.
Tara might be interested. I'm not BFFs with her or anything but it wouldn't be terribly awkward for me to ping her and ask closer to the 2012 con, assuming she'll be coming. She's not Twin Cities local, so it's a toss up. She wasn't a guest of honor or anything this year, just attending with Lynne.
