I had to clean out Mr. Snake's cage because it was a little gross and they were using wood shavings, which I'm not to fond of for a variety of reasons.

He was in a pretty good mood considering and did some arm exploring.

Ball pythons are one of my favorite snakes, but they are hellishly difficult to keep healthy and happy. All of mine got respiratory infections, no matter how diligently I tended to them. That's the reason I'd never consider getting another. They're gorgeous, but just too hard to keep as pets. :( I'd get an ass-load of corn snakes though. They are hardy and happy as can be and my Loki was the most friendly and beautiful guy ever. I miss him... *tears

Your snake is pretty pretty. What is the name? My last one was named Kodama. The ones before that were Cupid and Train.

Corn snakes are also rad. This guy just called to me though. He's a rehome from Craigslist and I really would've hated to see him go to someone who doesn't know anything about snakes.

I think his name is going to be Hermes.
