I just made an appointment to have our dog put down next week.

The reasons are valid, but I feel sick -- like I've just made a date with the executioner.

I'm so sorry. I did the same with Traddles, and it was awful awful awful. I condole.

I so understand, having done this both for Merlin and Spanky. It's the hardest thing that we do for our companions. It's an act of love and mercy, but it's a terrible thing to have to do. Terrible. I'm so sorry.
