New Book Challenge 2008 - 14/52 - Review - Anne of Windy Willows

Feb 17, 2008 16:23

Book 14 (yes - I'm roughly around a month and a half ahead of where I should be...) of the challenge. List is here.

This book seems to be made up of more first-person narrative than the book's before. Anne's letters to Gilbert make up a good proportion of the book and it changes the mood of the book. But Anne is still her sunny self, in the last three years as a single woman.

I've no idea what the next book will be, I've started both The Secret Garden and Behold the Man (Yes, Waterstone's in Leeds came up with the goods, and I need to start Anne's House of Dreams as well.
