Renee: i'm so, so sorry you have to go through all this. as if the past 3 years haven't been drama-filled enough! i can't imagine how scary that would be. my dad had a cancer scare last year (which turned out to only be a scare), and i'm still recovering from that. however, you're a strong person and you have a good head on your shoulders. you've been through very bad things before and you've pulled through them. unfortunately, that's life. it'll throw horrible things at you and you have to just do the best you can with them. but fortunately for you, you have a lot of people around you who love you and will always be there for you. i can tell you, without my friends, there's no possible way i would have made it through this past year. i remember one particular day when i was so distraught that breathing was literally difficult. Matt Midkiff reached over and held my hand and just listened very patiently to me scream/cry/rant without saying a word. that's all he did: just listen and show me that he wasn't scared to be
