I have just realized that I can RSS from LJ into my google reader, which means perhaps I'll be a bit more active in posting replies to things. How exciting

I went to an IKEA in Long Beach a couple months ago. First time I've ever been to one, and I went for the breakfast.

Regarding the time-space rift, good luck with that. I think cloning avatars of yourself would be a better option.

The Google Reader thing isn't quite perfect yet. A lot of people respond that it won't read locked entries. However, a quick Google search pulls up a fix to make sure that doesn't happen. :)

Just wanted to drop a note to you about that so you don't run off to your Google Reader and not realize that you may be missing some stuff.

I sort of do the opposite and use LJ as an RSS feed.

Just fyi, http://www.livejournal.com/tools/opml.bml?user=willowperson for OPML of friendslist for easy importing - however, you will need to add ?auth=digest at the end of each feed to be able to view protected entries. Not sure how google reader supports that though.
