...and the first weekend of official faire rehearsals is over. le sigh. it's funny how you can forget how wonderful it is to perform and just be around really awesome people until you're thrusted back into it. since graduation, and hell even before that, it's been more of "going through the motions" than actually enjoying each moment of life. i've ( Read more... )

It's good to hear that you are enjoying the Faire process. It is good to have you sharing the "Joys and Passions" of this large, eclectic and sometimes overwhelming group.

Unfortunately, there's no addiction support group for faire, so there really isn't any way to kick the habit once you're here. Welcome to the strangest bunch of lunatics you'll ever love.

i feel like the addiction support group for faire would just turn out to be the same people in faire...so it's really quite the vicious cycle!

you know you are on the right track when you are doing the hard work and it's OK; you don't really mind. Sure the weekends are long, but no one forced me to keep coming back.

'tis a good point, and i'm excited to see how it all turns out! and i feel that even though the weekends are long sometimes, it's never a bad long...except when you choose to be the crank in a machine and end up having to stay there for forever and a day...:-p
