my wonderful betta fish has passed on...i went to go feed him this morning and there he was, all belly up and floating around. i haven't disposed of him yet...i'm finding it hard to do just flush him down the toilet. granted, it's just a fish, but he was a good fish! he was spunky, and he did this cool fin fluttering thing every time he saw me...i'

Liam and I lit the candle on our way in from reading on the swing... just at disk when the light is magickal. All of our fish (Alfred Fishcock, Sid Fishious, Ichybod Crane and the two "as-yet-unnamed" ones) came up to the surface and formed a circle around it for a moment before swimming off together. It seemed a fitting tribute.
