why CT is more appealing than boston right now...

Here's the thing. Democracy is for collective actions, not personal decisions. You have to decide for yourself whether the friends in CT or the life's path in MA is more important to you. It does kinda read, though, like you're already leaning toward coming back and looking for validation.

So, yeah, all that said, I also vote for your return for purely selfish reasons without any consideration for your own wants and needs and dreams in life. :-)

(Actually, I do have to ask: does living in CT necessarily preclude dance?)

it's interesting because i thought that when i moved to boston i'd be in the perfect location to pursue what i wanted out of dance and to reconnect with old friends and what not...turns out, even though i'm in a relatively artsy city, i'm still not dancing and i rarely see anyone other than my roomates (and even that is slim since our schedules are so different.) i feel as though i have no direction in life, and being in boston hasn't made the scales tip one way or another. if i am to be in this state of limbo, i'd rather be in it surrounded by those i love most, than alone...if that makes sense. i don't know what's in store for me, or if i really will even move, but right now it's a strong consideration.

thanks for your vote :)
