I love this! Am I right in saying that this grew from that feast where Katniss's prep team gave them the drink to make ten puke? I loved Peeta for his reaction in the book, and your opening lines reminded me of that moment and captured his revulsion so well.

The ending made me go awwww. You've shown his devotion to Katniss so sweetly.

Yes, that's the one. :) That party was so gross. When you grow up poor and then are put in a situation where people are so wasteful, it's really hard not to be disgusted by it.
