Levi's lips were on her neck. His hands were underneath her shirt, sliding up her back. In less than a minute, his fingers would find the fastener and then she wouldn't be able to think at all. She pulled back.
"What's wrong?" he asked, looking concerned.
"Nothing,” Cath said. “I just… I wrote something for you."
"You want to read it now?"
She ignored him and reached to the side of his bed for her laptop. She could feel her entire face burning. His expression was half-puzzled, half-frustrated, but she couldn't look at him right now.
She cleared her throat. "Levi’s lips were on her neck and she couldn’t think at all. His hands slid up her back…”
Levi's face flushed. "Jesus, Cath. You wrote fanfiction about us?"
"It’s too weird, right?” she asked. “Just forget…”
She started to shut her laptop, but he stopped her. “No! I was just surprised. Please, keep reading.”
He grinned at her, and she couldn’t help but smile too. She cleared her throat again and began to read.
