E and I are planning for our Anniversary this year and we have (after much deliberation) decided to go to New Orleans. We will be there 10/30-11/3. Which means we will be in New Orleans for Halloween. Just thinking about all the cool ghost tours, Voodoo shops, and cemetery's we will be able to visit on such an auspicious weekend is unbelievably ( Read more... )

It's a true "adult" vacation after so many years of just doing the Pennsic thing. I want a a real bed with A/C god damnit! :)

New Orleans is rockin- you can do so many cool tours and then the tour guides can tell you some cool places off the beaten path- thats how i found some cool lil jazz clubs..i don't know if the hurricane wiped them out tho. the french quarter has such amazing voodoo shops. try http://www.creolegardens.com/. for a B&B.

WOW --- I'm seriously jealous!!!

That sounds like an amazing trip --- we had talked about doing something similar "someday" but hadn't gotten around to that one yet. (Hey, we did Lake Placid, Mystic, Salem, Nova Scotia Cruise, Cape Cod, & D.C.)

Keep us posted so I can live vicariously through you!!! :)
