Story is done, barring typo fixes and editorial comments.
So, now what? The sex is an integral and necessary part to show the heat found in lesbian relationship, and make the final total devastation even more poignant. So, that rules out both Analog and IASF magazine. Perhaps F&SF? I can't find it an online home - the sites I saw won't use stuff not written by born-females, plus it shows lesbian ( Read more... ) -
Story progress report
Now on page 14. The train wreck is under way. Maybe another page to go.
Been editing, fixing typos, improving the flow, continuity. I have a bit more to add in the middle yet, might be a half-page there, so it looks like it'll be 15 pages, and 50k of text. Whee.
I'll be glad when it's done. -
Writing update
It's going to be a short story. 8 pages so far, probably that many left. I know the conflict and resolution, and will leave other issues mentioned but not explored. Covers a bit over a year of the characters lives. I'm hoping fo Analog Magazine. -
