Friday night I had to park at a meter spot on Belmont, about 15 minutes away from Eva's aparto because there was nothing available anywhere.  Not even on my normal spots up and down the side streets of Southport.  So what happens when I go to my car the next day to feed the meter.  Yeah, I got another ticket, but what else

Who would break into a car just to pilfer a random notebook? Especially one that's of great personal importance to you? Plus the ticket? That DOES suck.

But the good thing is that you don't have to spend any money to fix your window or locks.

Goddamn. I don't really know what to say, but to have your journal stolen like that...I would be insanely depressed, and I'm sorry it happened.

The thing about Chicago, is that there are more property damage crimes than people damage crimes. Especially on the north side, so it's good that nothing actually happened to your physical self.
