In case you haven't seen this yet, here's the Wolfram Alpha computational search engine. Here's the introductory webcast.

I haven't had a chance to dig into it much, but the design looks inspiring. Has anyone tried it out in depth?

I've poked at it a little bit, and I'm underwhelmed - I find the data spotty, and often mis-directed (e.g. try looking for wind speed of a tornado). Admittedly, I've not played around much with the math aspects, mostly tried to explore other info.
