I'm sitting in Morning Brew, nice little coffee shop in Kailua, contemplating all the work I could do today. But not quite yet. This is a nice spot to get some food and coffee and work for a while. I gave a short speech in Chapel at school yesterday, on civic participation and voting. It's nothing unusual for teachers to speak in Chapel, but the setting was rather bizarre. Yesterday was a really rainy day. Not just rainy -- downright gloomy, with Kona winds blowing plenty of vog over from the Big Island (where Kilauea is currently going nuts).
