Dinner at Orlando's (for Elizabeth)

It's been a few days since Cordelia returned from Port Royal with Elizabeth, and while Will has seen her many times since, they've never been completely alone. Tonight, Orlando has agreed to let them use his house and is now on his way out somewhere, though not until he'd helped Will set everything up for a romantic dinner

Elizabeth carefully got dressed in the clothes that Cordelia had helped her to pick out. She was wearing something that Cordy called blue jeans and a very pretty blue top. The top had a scalloped neckline and Cordy said it looked really good on her. She was wearing a apir of boots that Cordy had helped her pick out and her hair was pulled back into a braid.

Once at Orlando's house, Elizabeth gets out and then looks at Cordelia. "Aren't you coming in?"

Cordelia grins and shakes her head. "Nope. This night is for you two. Have a good time and I want all of the details later."

Elizabeth laughs and then leans in the window to hug her friend. "Alright. Have a good night, Cordy and I'll see you later."

Elizabeth turns and walks up the stairs and knocks gently on the door.

Will tugs at his hair as he paces, readjusting the rubber band that's holding it back, then smooths his hands down the front of the black dress shirt he's wearing. The clothes in this time, he's noticed, aren't quite as loose-fitting as he's used to, but Orlando assured him that's the fasion now, so he agreed to let him choose his wardrobe.

When he hears the soft knock, he hurries to the door and pulls it open, beaming when he sees Elizabeth standing on the front step. "You're here. Come in." He steps back so she can enter.

Elizabeth smiles at Will. "I love what you're wearing," she says as she kisses him hello. She took his hand and squeezed it. "I know that I'm not that far away, just at Cordelia's but I have missed you."

"I've missed you, too." Will leans down and kisses her again, then pulls her farther into the house. " Wait until you see the dining room. Orlando went a bit overboard."

ooc: Cordy has to take a last-minute trip to Chicago, so Orlando agreed to let Elizabeth stay in one of his guest rooms. I hope she doesn't mind co-habitating with Will for a few days. *g*
