Hmmm...

I went to the doctor this morning with an unbelievable pain in my ear. Certain that my brain was bleeding, I was rushed to the emergency room only to be told: [dum duh duh DUM] EAR INFECTION! At least my brain's not bleeding.

oh, and I had an ear infection once. god damn, those are a bitch. I had to sleep on my other side with a medicated, microwaved cotton ball jammed in the infected one. :[

Heh, one time I had an ear infection in elementary school. When night time came around and the sharp ringing remained in my ear all night long, I went insane. In fact, the "me" that you know today is just a product of the episode.

It's sad to think that, had a nonblack person said this, it would've sounded really racist.

Black History Month is kind of awkward for me. It's simply not my history. My ancestors (thankfully) weren't slaves so I can trace back my history considerably far if I wanted to. Sure, I'm "African-American" and some people think that, for that reason, BHM relates to my history. But that's just a fucking ignorant thing to say even after telling people, "MY PARENTS ARE FROM UGANDA. THEY ARE NOT AFRICAN-AMERICANS."

It's also funny how idiotic people think "African-American" is the PC term for "black" even though the two can refer to completely spearate entities.

Ok, I'm done..the view from this soapbox is kind of dreary!
