Got my first flight lesson today at the Pittsburgh Flight Training Center. While the flying (all 0.8 hours of it) was fun, they had some issues.

• The plane I was supposed to fly got unannouncedly downed for further maintenance, and after discussion with the staff there, it's downed for the indeterminate future.

It's too bad your instructor doesn't seem to be all that much "with it". My dad first took me flying when I was about four or five and I had the checklists drilled into me pretty good!

Flying! Exciting!

There are tons of little airplanes always taking off from the airport by my campus, and flying out over the ocean. I think they must have so much fun.
