Easier to be played upon than a pipe (NB this does NOT involve travelling to NSW)

A Quick(ish) Reminder:

Shakespeare. Cave. This Saturday. 5th of January. 12pm onwards. Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Lunch first. Various dietary needs catered for.

If none of this makes sense to you, and you've not heard of any of this before,

for a couple of months now, I've been gathering small groups of friends to my place in Red Hill, which has a handbuilt cave attached. (yes, it's a cave. Yes. Handbuilt. come see it. It's cool.)

In this incredibly cool structure we gather, with food and, if desired, drinks, and read a script selected prior to the event from the complete works of William Shakespeare. Why? Well, if you need to ask, then you should come, and hear it for yourself. And see the cave. It's in Red Hill, inner city Brisbane, and really easy to reach by public transport.

There's only one 'rule' - if you come, you read. Just one line is fine, but everyone participates at least that much. Parts are shared out in the moment, though any can be 'dibbed' beforehand if desired.

You don't need to have had any experience whatsoever in either having read Shakespeare, or of having ever been in a cave before. No costumes are required - but if you want to dress up, feel free! that'd be awesome! (if I'm forewarned, I'll happily do the same, so you don't feel lke the only one.)

No acting experience is required, and leaping about and being energetic isn't required either. But again, if the moment takes you, and you feel the need to leap, feel free! Dodgy props can be provided on request.

if you're coming along, it's best that you bring your own copy of the chosen script - but, for those who simply can't find one, some spares are usually laying about.

Can i trouble everyone for a show of hands, for a catering purposes, and b so that i can email or text you the address, which I'd rather only give to people who are interested in attending this event, as I'm sure you understand. ;)

See you saturday?
