man, do I feel old

Oct 16, 2005 08:06

I suddenly realized last night as I sat outside of a pizza place in Pullman waiting the 30 or so minutes for my pizza to be done just how tragically old I really am. I used to be able to wander around the town and feel like I belonged, but last night that all changed. Last night, I was the old alum standing in the room. Last night, I saw kids ( Read more... )

oh, willy. you're not old.... you're youth challenged. :P JK

haha, you know - i don't know if i've ever seen someone in their 20s freak out so much over their age. and besides - it is true that you're only as old as you feel. For example - i have an aunt that's 36, but really... she's about 19. haha. :)

I think the most embarrassing moment was when I was leaving the sorority house I was staying at and a fraternity guy said something about me being a "mom". I just about snapped the poor kid's head off.

"Elderly woman rips off student's head in rage" - almost as good of a headline as "Stope thinks hondas really suck". :)

Yo Coy-Dawg,

I watched the movie "Good Night, and Good Luck" earlyer today, and I thought it was a movie that you would like. It's very interesting.

Sounds like you are having fun a PHS. We miss you, but it seems the room of death lived up to its reputation.

I haven't seen it yet but it is on my list of things to see. WSU's Communications department is named after Edward R. Murrow, our most distinguished graduate. I might have to offer extra credit to my sophomore journalism students for going to see it...hmmm....

Hope all is well with you too, Matt!

Kolanto (at least that's who I'm assuming this is),
Vanguard is 6th period; I'd love to see you, kiddo! We also have the Homecoming assembly tomorrow starting at 1:15 (I'm in one of the skits, should be pretty funny), so Vanguard is about 12:30-ish. Bring some squeeky cheese curd from Ferdinands if you think of it. Just kidding, kinda. Wanna teach journalism, Harry Wong?

you guessed right!...Sorry no cheese...I didn't get a chance to read a reply until I got home but I'll send some back when I get back to pullman. I'd have to also say negative to the teaching...haha...don't think I'd be a good Harry Wong for a day. (that doesn't sound right...lol...but I left it anyways!) I'll try and come around noon or so...I have a golf tee time at 230p!!!
