As I sat in the NSPA Best of Show awards ceremony, my heart couldn't beat any faster. It was nerve-wracking, and I really couldn't explain why. I didn't really think we would place at Nationals, honestly, not yet. It has been a rough rebuilding. The kids are good, but I didn't think we were ready yet. They announced the "special edition" category,

Yeah, it is pretty awesome that we are ranked fifth in the nation. I wish I could have been there though. I can't wait for next year!!! I think that we will be even more "VANTASTIC!!!!!!!" And yes, as you said: "The pheonix will rise again!"

pretty sure 1st in the nation is about as vantastic as it can get.

coyer, we made more than a scene. honestly, it still hasn't sunk in yet that we took 5th.
