Watching her, waiting, she sits alone
Rays splash down, tinting the surface
Beautiful picture, never to be erased
Salty air filling our senses
Sand devouring us both
Chances are taken, never to be mistook
Velvet touches, on her lips and neck
Take her in mine, this day is new
Blue sky beats down, not for long
Sod it. Best day of my soddin’ life and it’s still pure shit. Bloody awful poet I am. Suppose that would never change. Rippin’ out the page, I crumble it up and toss the piece of paper in the waste basket. Time to start all over again. Best day of my life, the day that Buffy and I put everything aside, or rather, she did, givin’ me a chance. Been together ever since, - not long mind you, feels like forever though. Then again, time doesn’t quite matter to me much these days.
