My vagabond, near-homeless lifestyle right now means that I do not have regular access to refrigeration or  to a heat source.  As one might imagine, my typical lunch fare has been affected by this development.

The pudding snack pack I am currently eating advertises three exciting things on the outside cover.
  • Needs no refrigeration
  • No preservatives

Better the REAL nonfat MILK than the synthetic nonfat lactose substitute.

Depending on the origin of said puddings this might make sense & be non-scary. A big surprise for me in Switzerland was that their milk didn't need to be fridged; it was irradiated or something that made it OK to be out in the open.

Which was really convenient for the people on the trip (aka me) who only drink coffee when it contains an obscene amount of milk & so were carrying it around.

Amen to geearewhy on synthetic milk, that stuff's just gross.
