It’s the most beautiful thing and Reese can’t even pretend otherwise - watching Finch with Bear is the most comforting thing he’s ever seen.
They don’t play much, they aren’t overly affectionate - neither of them used to such things - but there’s a deep bond there, that Reese soon gets addicted to watching.
Bear likes Reese too, but Finch is different. As if he knew that his purpose in life from now on is to be Finch’s most loyal companion. It makes Reese smile to himself, and he’s glad he doesn’t have the words to tell Bear: that position is already taken.
