Beautiful moment between John and his boys. You packed so much emotion in this. I loved the details about how John views Dean and Sam. How they are different and yet hold so much of Mary in them. Loved that. What I loved even more was John's description of Sam and the newborn colt. It fits so well and makes me just visualize Sam in all his long limbed glory.

I caught one small spelling mistake, With a sign John once again looks up at the night sky. Sign should be sigh.

You did a really wonderful job with this prompt and it was a joy to read John having such a nice 'normal' moment with his kids. You killed me with that line about the brightest star being Mary. *sniffles*

The typo has been changed. Thanks for letting me know. I wrote this one in kind of a hurry.

I'm really pleased that you like it that much!! Thanks!

Oh, lovely :-) I especially like this line: Sammy on the other hand is all long arms and legs that have yet to discover their role in life. It's jsut such an apt description of him. Awesome job.

Thanks!! I figured Sam at that age would be much the same as my brother when he was growing. LOL!

Just perfect! You took my prompts and ran with them! I absolutely adore this, its exactly what I was looking for! I love to read those normal moments that the three had, the times that weren't all hunting and killing and the family business and you captured that here perfectly! THANK YOU!
