A note on Crowley's car

Jul 13, 2009 09:20

It is damn near next to impossible to find decent, icon-able images of a 1926 Bentley on the internet. However, I still have icons of a newer, shinier Bentley from the first time I played Crowley (a gift from Adam, when he was in camp). I haven't really figured out what I'm going to do about this, aside from the part where I'm going to be using ( Read more... )

Internet Movie Cars Database has some screenshots from an old movie chase involving one, if that serves?

God, every time I look at the classic Bentley, I have the HARDEST time imagining it going anywhere near as fast as Crowley can make it go.

Which is probably the point of it all.

[blows kisses]

You could consider fanart, too; I'm fairly sure I have some in my bottomless GO folder which I'd happily upload for you.

JACKPOT! Except I am a horrible person and just do not see the appeal of the vintage models, and think the newer models are much prettier. And shinier. And aerodynamic. But that's just me. I'll shut up now.

Fanart is ALWAYS good -- in fact, if you've got any Crowley fanart that I haven't already snagged off the internets for icon use, I would be very appreciative if you shared them. If you were so obliged. :D

No, I totally agree, I am way more a fan of the 21st century models, especially when they have that rounded, retro feel but without actually being, uh, uselessly retro. Still, I guess unlike a real 1926 Bentley, Crowley's car Does As It's Told, even if that means 90mph down Oxford.

& if you don't mind a 70mb download, I can upload my entire folder to my webspace and you can just go through it? :D

Ugh I can't edit comments but the Rolls-Royce Enthusiast's Club has some pictures of various dates and models you could go through. I don't think anyone will mind if your icons are not PRECISELY a 1926 car.
