First thought when I saw the song - "hey, thats Felica Day", closely followed with "The the outfit from the EQII video"... sigh ..

I encountered The Guild some time ago thanks to Penny Arcade's Tycho obsessing over Felicia Day, but I'm a bit perplexed by the new video. If that's a spoof, what's it supposed to be a spoof of?

Filming the whole thing as machinima might have been quite funny, but having real people in there... I suspect a fair proportion of their audience do want to date Felicia Day. So how is this witty?!

Not so much a spoof ... more a satire in the vein of some of the Not The Nine Oclock news songs .. As an MMO player i found it very funny ;-)
