Character Name: Nanohana Himesaki
Source Canon: Project PreDestiny: The Rainbow Jewel of Hope (OC series)
Community Tag: nanohana himesaki
Notes: Project PreDestiny: The Rainbow Jewel of Hopeis a mechanized AU of the magical girl series Futari wa Pretty Cure and its spin-offs and sequels, though it's more focused on the team-up movie series Pretty Cure All-Stars DX and the series Heartcatch Precure and Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star This was pretty much created by myself and Shaun Garin.
Background on the units - Project PreDestiny is the mecha-designing project undertaken by various scientists to use the power of the Rainbow Jewel in mecha. These mecha are known as PreDesus. They rank in at about 9 meters (about 27 feet high) and there are currently five classes of them: Endless, Neo, Agito, Arcana and Claimer. Each unit is outfitted with a special AI "mascot" which can create a hardlight hologram of sorts to follow its pilot around. The cockpit is designed similar to the Mobile Trace System of the G-Gundam Units and gives the pilots a special piloting suit that can also be used outside of the machine, giving them a degree of offensive and defensive power, but not at the same level as the PreDesus themselves. However, because of how the Rainbow Jewel is, PreDesus can only be piloted by females as males cannot sync right with the PreDesus
Each unit is also outfitted with two systems: the first being the Hold HANDS (Hearts Advanced Nine-thou Damage System), which allows PreDesus to link up by having the units hold hands and, through special syncros, unleash powerful attacks. The other is the M.I.R.A.Cl.E (Mass Infusion and Restoration Automated Contrl for Emergencies) Lights, a special system that can restore and repair a PreDesu to full power and give it a power boost, but only as a one-time deal.
PreDesu timeline: Hundreds of yearsBI: Infinity Cosmos, an enormous intergalactic PreDesu, seals away Dune and the Dark Fall.
150BI: PreDesu Ange, a smaller version of Infinite Cosmos, appears to keep the peace throughout the galaxy. It mysteriously comes and goes.
1BI: Black Hole, seeking the power of Infinity Cosmos, attacks and damages the machine. Its transformation device is lost, leaving it powerless.
0AI: The Second Impact occurs. A piece of space rock breaks through and crash lands on an uninhabited island near the Empire of Fuso. Scientists discover the space rock and begin discussion on what to do with it.
1AI: With the Earth in ruins, a gathering of scientists and inventors decide to use the spacerock, now known as the "Rainbow Jewel" due to its multi-colored nature, to help restore humanity to normal. Perfect PreDestiny is initiated. During this time, two "fairies", Pine and Apple, appear and take human form, suggesting a way to hide the Rainbow Jewel
2AI: The island is converted, on Pine and Apple's' suggestion, into an amusement park - Fairy Park - and opened for business. The first of the PreDesu units, Flower is developed and deployed.
4AI: The Endless PreDesus - Noir, Blanc and Gold - are built and deployed. However, one deploy is disasterous and the trio's true power is unleashed. As a precaution, the Endless PreDesus are locked away, their power sealed within the WEARE (Weaponized Emergency Armor Restricting Energy .
7AI: The NeoPreDesus - "Peach", "Berry", "Pine" and "Passion" (again, true names lost) - are activated.
10AI: Desu Flower is decomissioned. The Agito PreDesus - Melody, Rhythm, Beat and Muse - are designed and activated
12AI: The Arcana PreDesus - Dream, Rouge, Mint, Aqua, "Lemonade" (it's true name lost) - are activated. The GoGoDesu Robo is first used during this time.
13AI: Desu Moonlight and Dark of the Claimer PreDesus are designed and activated.
14AI: The remaining Claimer PreDesus - Tsubomi, Erika and Itsuki - are designed. Tsubomi refuses to move.
15AI: Desu Dark betrays the PreDestiny Project and destroys Desu Moonlight.

NOTE: the initial app and test run makes a few mentions to "Project PreCURE". This was done before the series was given another overhaul.
Background: Nanohana was born three years prior to Second Impact. Before and after the event, Nanohana lived a quiet, yet lonely life in Fuso. While she had her parents, they were always too busy with their jobs, especially after Second Impact when they sought to fix the damage done by the events. In her lonesome moments, Nanohana idled her time with an interest in flowers and watching the exploits of a new series of heroes, the PreDesus, who appeared soon after. However, between watching them and the continuing widening rift between her and her parents finally took its toll on Nanohana and she finally broke down, something that wouldn't of been caught had her parents not forgotten something. Realizing how neglectful they had been, Nanohana's parents began to spend more time with their daughter, but the damage was done to poor Nanohana's self-esteem.
In an attempt to cheer up Nanohana and get a new start, the Himesakis moved to an beachfront city, where the amusement park Fairy Park resided... as well as her ever-change heroes, the PreDesus. Between watching the various performers and watching her heroes defend the city, Nanohana made a promise to finally change her tune and become more than the wallflower she was. Upon turning 18, Nanohana finally earned her chance to be part of Fairy Park's work force, a starter dancer for the park's daily entertainment.
The year is 15AI and 18 year old Nanohana Himesaki is about to enter a brand new stage and she's one of the stars!
Personality: Nanohana Himesake is a very shy, yet kind girl. A real wallflower, Nanohana is the kind of person who would rather hang back and let others, especially more energetic-type people, have their fun and she'd just watch. This is mostly due to her poor upbringing, living alone for a good deal of her life. Because of it, she also has a distaste for people that are TOO energetic as it makes her feel incredibly uncomfortable (so, watch out hot-blooded Super Robot pilots). As well, she hates fighting and will do everything she can to defuse situations before they get too out of hand, though this will certainly burn away into hating fighting still, but realizing that sometimes there's nothing one can do but fight.
Deep inside, Nanohana has a lot of rage built up inside her. Despite her uncomfortableness towards people who are energetic, she wishes to be by their sides, to be part of some sort of gathering. The fact that she's more than willing to hide herself away and mess with any flowers she may have collected builds to that frustration, mostly because she screwed up another chance. Another thing that affects her is how she acts. As a pilot of the PreDestiny Project, she has a lot going for her and, unlike her partner and friend Eri, it stresses her immensely.
As well, Nanohana is a girl that is easily panicked. Between simple attention-getting actions and being in the middle of the action, the girl either goes into a flailing panic, trying to run away from anything or, even worse, freezing up in fear. Where the flailing panic is easy to control or redirect, it's the freezing in fear bit that hurts her the most. This is due to the fact that, if she freezes up, that forces someone else to snap her back to reality and 9/10ths of the time, that would mean putting someone in the line of fire.
Combined with the stresses of battle, her rage over everything finally bubbles over, usually with the declaration that "I have a bag of tolerance and it just snapped!". While it's very beneficial to her unit and to the battle, it's less a mantra to psyche opponents out and more of a reasoning to finally take out all of her frustrations on someone. This is mostly because she truly wishes she really could finally lash out at someone for all her troubles and insecurities and, before becoming part of the PreDestiny Project and allying with the While Chalice crew, she could never bring herself to do so. The actual action of doing so, though, scares Nanohana greatly and she'll more than likely hide away somewhere to cry in fear before returning.
As a pilot, Nanohana is certainly not the best. In fact, her unit's AI, Chypre, will readily call her "The Weakest PreDesu Ever". This is mostly due to her upbringing and her stance on fighting. Indeed, unlike other Desu pilots, Nanohana isn't going to know what to do or even how to readily use a unit's attacks at first. As well, she's completely not used to working with others and will trip over her own feet in attempting team attacks.
However, despite all of that, there's a part of her that wishes to change, to finally come out of her shell (or, going by the flower motif that is her counterpart, to finally bloom) and be someone incredibly different. A lot of this is fueled by her subtle fangirling of the more adventurous and heroic PreDesu pilots. To this end, she'll end up trying to give 120% in everything she does in pursuit of that wish, even if it means making a complete fool of herself in the process.
Capabilities and Resources: While Nanohana has no real abilities outside of the machine, the flight suit she wears inside Desu Tsubomi allows her to mimic her units abilities to a degree so that she can fight outside of her PreFesu if need be. Some say that it has a transition form as a "hard light" sundress, but the only one who knows of that is the pilot herself and she isn't going to show!
As well, she has an almost encyclopedic-level knowledge of flowers thanks to her grandmother.

Robot Name: PreDesu Series Operation Unit Claimer-Desu 03: Tsubomi
Robot Description: Tsubomi is a unit designed to work more as a defensive and speed-based unit. With the help of the Chypre System, Tsubomi converts emotions into power - the greater the emotion, the greater the power. It's said that when Nanohana's "bag of tolerance has snapped" is when Tsubomi's fighting potential has reached its max. The unit is outfitted with special thrusters mounted on the wrists and legs, enabling for limited flight, though it doubles as extra striking power for melee combat. It's main attacks are the Tsubomi Shower, which launches a flurry of flower-like energy bursts at its opponent and the Tsubomi Impact, which is a powered up punch
Its main weapon is the Tsubomi TACT (Tactical Aiming CounTer ), a small wand-like weapon which doubles as various energy sabers and a simple energy cannon. It's main finisher is the Pink Forte Wave, which has the TACT fire a burst of energy resembling a flower. When it strikes its opponent, the burst of energy binds its opponent in a flower-like "net". When a device on the TACT is struck, it ends up engulfing the opponent in energy, destroying them.
Through the aid of the Hold HANDS system and together with its "sister" unit Desu Erika, Desu Tsubomi can initiate two powerful attacks - the Desu Great Big Bang, which engulfs an area in explosive energy, and the Fortissimo Wave, a twin Forte Wave attack.
An interseting thing about Tsubomi is that it's one of two units with a new device called the Desu Wing, an energy cape that expands from behind the unit and enables flight and it's so not a Getter Wing, whatever gave you that idea?

Robot Name: PreDesu Series Operation Unit Star-Desu 02: Heron
Robot Description: The Star unit Desu Heron is the second of two units of the Star PreDesu series. The unit is based off of the Endless units (most likely Desu Blanc) thus utilizes kicks more than punches. Controlled by both Chypre and Choppi AIs, DesuHeron ends up showing more power than Desu Tsubomi does. An interesting addition to the unit is a mode switch between the flying "Heron mode" and the more grounded "Sonic mode".
In Heron mode, Desu Heron is capable of flight without the aid of external devices and can create powerful barriers. Through the Hold HANDS system, it can link up with its "sister" unit Desu Rising and perform the Spiral Heart Splash, the two units unleashing powerful bursts of energy to pulverize their opponents.
In Sonic mode, Desu Heron loses its ability to fly, swapping it for the ability to use the wind as a weapon. Beyond that, it remains the same as Egret mode, though much stronger in terms of power. The Spiral Heart Splash is replaced with the Spiral Star Splash, a stronger version of said attack

Robot Name: PreDesu Series Operation Unit Endless-Desu 02: Blanc
Robot Description: Desu Blanc is one of three units designed of the Endless series. Outfitted with the special AI Mipple, the Endless series was proven to be too powerful when, in 6 AI, the Endless series unleashed their full power uncontrolled, nearly pulverizing a city to the ground.
To control it, the WEARE armor is placed onto Desu Blanc. The armor is outfitted with a number of ballistic and energy weapons fueled by the overwhelming power of Desu Blanc. However, this armor can be cast off with the aid of the two other AIs in Nanohana's possession and full syncro with the units "sister" unit, Desu Noir. With the armor cast off, Desu White is one of the strongest units in the Desu line beside its sister units.
In and out of armor, the unit utilizes various kick-based attacks to attack its opponents. As well, Desu Blanc's Hold HANDS attacks with Desu Noir are the Marble Screw attack (which pulverizes an opponent with white and black-like energy), though with the armor off, it becomes Endless Marble Screw.
