It's raining!

 And that makes me oddly happy.

We have had a gorgeous summer, day after day of hot sunshine.

The only trouble is *whispers guiltily* I'm not that fond of sun.  Or heat.  Or the outdoors.

There.  I said it.  I know it is a small venial sin in this country not to love the sunshine.  I know that many people (including me, actually!) suffer from

*sigh* All I can say is that I understand this feeling all too well! I thought I was just a bit weird, and I most probably am. So, yes, I've commited the same venial sin. The sun triggers my migraines, being too hot triggers my migraines (much more so than being cold; that gets my asthma)and it also aggrivates my asthma and makes my pets shed which aggrivates the obsessive-compulsive neat freak in me. I also don't like the beach....and I live in Florida.

I don't think I'll turn to stone in the sun but, why take the chance, right?

Haha! I sometimes think I will turn into an alligator in the sun - my skin goes all rough and pebbly if I stay out too long, then I itch and it all gets uglier from there! Unfortunately, my husband is a total sun-bunny, so he really doesn't understand it!
