This is a song that was featured in the Holy Union service that Harry and I had in 1995. A close friend of ours performed it live with a backing track. It wasn't really our first choice, but another friend had the track and suggested it when they heard more about our themed ceremony. Upon review, we decided there was a hidden reference ("star-crossed voyager") that we could embrace. In case you didn't know or hadn't seen the one photo from that week, we had a Star Trek themed ceremony. Harry and I wore uniforms from the Wrath of Khan/Search For Spock movies while our best men wore uniforms more like the Next Generation. We used the Voyager and Deep Space Nine themes for our wedding march and recessional and played the bagpipes version of Amazing Grace as heard in one of those movies.
