My cognitive surplus is at it again.

Did you grow up listening to music in the 80s in the US? This playlist includes several songs that were hits in Australia and the UK in 1984, but were not as well-known in the US. Great music! In the 80's, the Philippines listened to not just American Top 40 songs. Practically every other English language song that was a hit made it there. We had a big hankering for AC/DC from Australia before they were a hit in the US. Thanks for the posting as I would have never reconnected with some of those songs.
I was a disco kid around the 80's. Little of the ones I loved then were even popular here in the US.

That's kind of the idea. I've been listening to these "70s" and "80s" stations and even the "lost hits of the 70s" have gotten too familiar. I wanted to see what else was out there that made a big impression, just not here. I'll probably tackle 1978 or 1979 next, which would be high school years for you and Harry.
