A/N: I don't think I even have an excuse for this bit of pointless fluff. All I know is that I was heating up spaghetti in the microwave the other night, and for some bizarre reason, Chloe and Dean started having a conversation that starts out very much like the beginning of this ficlet. It's been bugging me ever since, so I decided to see what would happen if I actually sat down to write it. Not much, obviously, but I thought they were cute. I don't know when this is, but it would seem to be at some point in the future when there's a bit less angst floating around. Anyway! Feedback is love. ;)

Chloe looked at the total mess in her kitchen sink and sighed. "I honestly had no idea you could set spaghetti on fire. How does that even happen?"

She heard a low laugh behind her, and looked over her shoulder. Dean Winchester was a smartass and he knew it, so he wasn't even trying to hide the grin spreading across his face.

She rolled her eyes. "Oh, shut up," she said dryly. "I was trying to do something nice for you."

"When you already knew you couldn't cook," he said, helpfully pointing to the sink with his bottle of Budweiser.

"How hard could boiling water and pasta be?" she said miserably.

Dean set his beer down, and walked up behind her, putting his arms around her. "I told you we could go out for burgers. We've been going out for two months, you don't have to impress me anymore."

Chloe laughed, turning around in his arms. "Wow, two whole months, and the shine's already knocked off? I do believe we have a problem."

He shook his head, laughing when she yelped as he picked her up and set her on the counter in front of him. "I didn't mean it like that. You impress me. Just stop trying to impress me with things you can't do, okay? Since there's not much you can't do, including hack computer systems and hotwire a car, that shouldn't be too hard. I like you the way you are."

"You do?"

"You know I do. Besides, if I wanted Donna Reed, I'd figure out a way to bring her back," he teased with a wink.

"You're gross."

"It's not possible, so not really. How about going out for dinner?"

Chloe leaned forward to kiss him as he pulled her more tightly against him.

When they parted, she had a completely wicked gleam in her eyes. "How about we order in?"
