No! I shall never be bored with LJ! Without LJ, I would have no memories. I would not know the exact things that I was thinking at exact moments in time. ;-)
Seriously, I like them as a way to keep in touch with what people are doing and thinking about. You know, the random shit that you probably wouldn't talk about in direct conversations.
I like it to keep up with people, other than that... I am just bored with it. I enjoy remebering random shit too, but I have realized that I become overly obsessed about remembering things, so I felt like I had to write EVERY SINGLE IMPORTANT THING that happened down in graphic detail, or I would lose it. I had to calm down about that, and I haven't really written anything in a while, and I feel a lot better. So yeah. I like LJ, but just to see what's up with ppl.
I'm not bored of lj, because it gives me a way to communicate with people, and most importantly a little hole in the world to cry and scream when i'm feeling low. without it i'd have no release and i may be dead, who knows?
I'm glad you have your release and communication. Every once in a while I'll release tension on LJ, but mostly I talk now. And if I tried to keep up with every little thing I said and did and what other people said and did - and believe me, I've tried - I'd go crazy. That's what I was trying to do, which is why I made a conscious effort to stop writing so obsessively. And I feel better. I had to realize that just because I don't record a word-for-word conversation doesn't mean I'll forget the conversation or the feelings it evoked, the good times and the bad, all that. Anyway, THAT'S why I've stopped writing so much, and that's why I'm bored with it, I suppose. :-)
