Chicago is one my favorite musicals, so yay that you like it too. Unlike Mary, I will toss a few your way. Gene Kelley with Frank Sinatra musicals are usually cute, romantic, and upbeat. Anchors Aweigh I believe is the one that includes the famous scene with Gene and Jerry (the mouse of Tom and Jerry). It's a superfluous scene, but historic. Though I should warn you as much as I love musicals, you can end up with F. Scott Fitzgerald type writing/stories. If it works and sells, do it again, but change the setting, or change up how they meet, etc...
