Kazeki Cosplay Photos: Animazement 2010

A friend of mine, guinechan, and I cosplayed Serge and Gilbert at Animazement (AZ) this weekend. AZ is a convention held every Memorial Day weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina! Sadly, few people recognized us, but those who did were very nice! We made sure to have our handy-dandy photographer take some pictures yesterday, and I wanted to share

I ran into you guys Friday night in the panels area! I was the one who recognized the series and asked for a picture before talking to you for two minutes or so. You really made my night!

OMG, you totally made our night! We'd been wandering around all day just wondering when someone would finally recognize us!!

I think I made my friends worry since my jaw literally dropped when you walked past us. You did such a good job with the uniforms, and you really do fit the characters.

I really can't wait to see what you'll do for next year.

Awww!! You were so precious!! I think I was in shock when you stopped us! I was almost expecting that whoever stopped us would guess we were from a different series, but you completely shocked me! <3 It was definitely nice to meet you!

And yeah, judging by those outfits, I don't think people in the 1800s had global warming xD

It was definitely hot, but still much more comfortable than other costumes we've worn! The worst part were the wigs. They were so itchy!!

Maaah D: , Why are all the cool Cosplays and Conventions on the other side of the world!?? You bet nobody would recognize the series over here....

It´s so amazing! You look so beautiful! How much I would want to see this live! Tell me when you do them again and over to see you!!

XD; I was honestly extremely shocked when we were actually recognized. I'd thought we'd go the whole weekend without anyone knowing who we were!

And thank you~! :D Lol. We're not too sure when we'll be able to do it again. We wanted to go to another con in July dressed as Serge and Gilbert, but we may not have the funds to make it, and then next year we have plans to do a Terra E cosplay so Serge and Gilbert may not get their chance again for quite some time. Unless we feel like putting our costumes on randomly and goofing off without paying a visit to an anime convention, in which case there would probably be pictures and I would definitely be willing to share! :D
