I'm sad to see you go from game, but with real life being pretty busy it is understandable. As always, that takes priority! :) In the meantime, on the game side of things, you know you always have a home in UDF if you ever choose to return. Also, do you know if Shirin is staying in game? I haven't seen them around in a while too. I'll take your name off the active roster in the forums, but you will still have member access - so stop by and say hi from time to time :)

I talked to Shirin, and Shirin isn't going to be staying in FFXI. We're going to leave together XD
I'll post my goodbye for FFXI in the forums some time next week, but I'll still lurk in the forums from time to time to see how everyone's doing. Congrats on getting pearled btw, are you happy about that? It just seemed like a natural progression for you and Mirya.

I'll edit the forum privileges for Shirin too - just to make sure you both still have full access to all the regular member's posts even though you will be gone. You both will be missed in game - and you know we will gladly welcome you back if you ever decide to return

I seriously hated when people quit FFXI, except when I quit myself. You and Shirin will both be back, not many people make successful transfers from FFXI to WoW. I mean, especially Shirin. He plays a mithra right? (or Taru, I can't remember) He will have a hard time making the transition from looking at something cute like a mithra to some odd creature he's going to be walking around in that game
