I always liked the word "susurration." It's the whisper at the back of the neck right under the ear lobe that can set a person off when done juuuuust right. Isn't that right, Ea?

I believe I heard that "Schmetterling" is also slang for gay boy. This wouldn't be a big surprise, given that "butterfly" in damn near every language seems to have a similar connotation.

heh, I'm sure he knows ALL about that...

As for the Deutsch, could be. I'm way more familiar with Hoch Deutsch than any dialect or slang. Too much time in the classroom and not enough in day to day practice. It would not surprise me in the least. I do know that "warm" (w is pronounced as a v) is slang for gay. I made the mistake in class when discussing sports of saying someone was warm, as in warmed up for the game, and was corrected by the prof to use "hast warmen auf" to avoid making broad based statements about someones sexuality on the game field. :)

My High German is about as rusty as it can be. I only took one course in High School. However, my favorite word is Gift, which means "poison." I have always thought that it would be delicious to smile evilly at an enemy and tell him that I have a Gift for him. Bwa ha ha!
