I've only used the Sephora brand brush spray cleaner. It does the job right, but there were instances where I used a brush after a clean and it irritated my skin. I'm guessing it didn't dry long enough because the next time I used the brush my face felt fine.
In another incident, I used the spray on my Tokidoki Pittura Brush and it didn't remove the eyeshadow completely and slightly stained my brush. That brush is synthetic.
Unfortunately, I'm still searching for a good cleaner so I'll have to get back to you on that. This spray is $6 bucks though and I think it's worth a try.
