In-Game Character Information
Name: Flora
Series: Claymore
Age: 18
Personality: Despite being a claymore, as most come off being very passive aggressive and angry due to their pasts, Flora is actually pretty kind and caring. Even when her patience is lost she stays surprisingly calm, with the exception of intense battle. Though her extreme calm attitude makes her seem like she doesn't have much of a personality, which may be true on some levels, and makes her seem a little cold at times and overall very neutral. Flora keeps to herself most of the time or keeps with her comrades that suffered the same fate as she, mostly because she feels more comfortable around them. But she is not to shutting the others out completely.
Flora is also really soft spoken. She speaks in a very polite manner no matter the situation, be it she's trying to deal with someone else's stupidity or just in a casual conversation. Being a warrior almost all her life she has trained herself to follow orders from her superiors, as well as the higher ups of authority, rather well. Overall Flora has a very subdued personality, she doesn't express certain emotions well (if at all) and they are often overshadowed by other aspects.
Background: Like all other claymores at Hogwarts Flora was born into a muggle family. However at an early stage in her life she lost her parents to creatures known as yoma, demons that fed on human flesh, in the heartland of Britain and from that day on she was an orphan child. Being an orphan, and on top of that a muggle with hidden magical powers that had yet to surface, she was taken in by the Department of Mysteries. There her human flesh was fused with that of the flesh of yoma, giving birth to a claymore (named after the weapon that they use to fight with). She lost the color in her hair and obtained silver eyes, her magical powers and physical attributes (reflexes, speed, strength, etc.) dramatically increased. Her reflexes being the fastest, she was know to have one the quickest draws being at almost lighting speed. Once classified as a warrior she, along with her fellow claymore comrades, were sent out on missions to take down and kill yoma, which was the main purpose for creating these hybrids in the first place.
It was not long after that the 'Claymore Project' was put to a stop and the Department of Mysteries was forced to stop these experiments due to high demand. Flora and the rest of the claymores were sent out into the wizard world to live normal lives...well as normal as it could be for them and at the age of 14 she was sent to Hogwarts. Despite being a warrior that fought to protect the lives of humans she was shunned and discriminated against. After being released not much changed, she still got the same reactions from those different from her. Now in her 7th year at Hogwarts Flora is being forced to adapt to this new way of living
Blood: Muggle-born
Preferred House: Ravenclaw
Why you think they belong in this house? Because she doesn't fit with the other houses ffffff. Just like a chocobo...or a phoenix. I can see her being very smart, she is also a rational thinker. She posses most of the qualities Ravenclaw holds.
School Year: 7th
Quidditch Position: Beater
Would you like the character to possibly get a higher position? Probably not~
Roleplay Samples
Journal Sample: I suppose it is really careless of me to misplace this journal after so long. I haven't seen it since last year, I will make a point to keep it close this time.
But....another year at Hogwarts, my last one at that. Galatea, Miria, I suspect you guys are doing well? As well as Cynthia and Helen? Number 4 Ophe
Hm. I think I'll...head outside for now.
Roleplay Sample: Today was just like any other day, Hogwarts was being loud as usually. Flora settled herself against one of the walls in the corridors as she silently observed the people scurrying about. Some walked while others shoved each other. Humans...or wizard and witches to be exact, were strange creatures and she had a hard time understanding them. She closed her eyes for a split second letting a quick sound of acknowledgment escape her lips before pushing herself out from the wall. The stares and insults and been at a minimum today, probably the only abnormal thing to have happen this evening.
Perhaps she should go the the Ravenclaw dorm, that's where most of her fellow claymores were staying. Flora debated this idea in her head for a while before finally deciding it was the right thing to do. Or more so the less troublesome.
"Probably the best idea..."
She said out loud to herself, though because it was her the statement was said quietly and monotone. Galatea would have been in there teasing someone, or playing chess with Miria. Nonetheless they certainly would not have minded the presence of an extra person. Her wispy hair fell in her face but she didn't bother to move it out of the way. Instead he lifted her hand and tapped it against the side of her head, a signal that she was ready to head off.
